Born May 7, 1995 in New York City. Died June 23, 2012 in Amagansett, NY.
At the time of his passing, Jeffrey Ahn, Jr. was a rising senior at the Trinity School, where he was an enthusiastic painter, scientist, actor, two-time Student Senator, wrestling team manager, and president-elect of the Storytellers Club. Compassionate, loyal, fun-loving, and witty, he left behind many friends from all years at Trinity, a school he loved passionately and whose colors he wore proudly. Until eighth grade Jeffrey attended St. David’s School, where he was noted for his artistic talents and his commitment to service.
In 2014, his parents and sister founded The Jeffrey Ahn, Jr. Fellowship to celebrate his exceptional creativity and independence.
Additionally, they also endowed a research fellowship in his name at Columbia University, where he interned during high school, and established an annual workshop for Trinity School seniors to learn basic life support skills, thus honoring his abundant community spirit and interest in helping others.
